"Creative & Innovative Education to Enhance the Quality of Life"

Paper Submission

Contribution Types

Prospective authors are invited to submit papers either as Full paper with 6 - 8 pages or Short paper with 4 - 6 pages in A4 pages (including tables, figures and references) in standard IEEE double-column format that you may download from https://www.ieee.org/content/dam/ieee-org/ieee/web/org/conferences/conference-template-a4.docx.

A double blind peer-review process will be used to evaluate all submitted papers. Each full registration for the conference will cover a maximum of one paper; each student registration will cover a single paper only. Extra paper, paper, 2nd paper and onwards, must be registered separately.

IMPORTANT:

  1. IEEE conference templates contain guidance text for composing and formatting conference papers. Please ensure that all template text is removed from your conference paper prior to submission. Failure to remove template text from your paper may result in your paper not being published.
  2. Use of any other IEEE templates is NOT acceptable as there are subtle differences between those templates and the conference template that will affect the consistency in appearance of papers published in the proceedings.
  3. Do not change the paper size (A4) or margins in the template.
  4. The headers and footers must remain empty. (They should not contain page numbers or anything else!)
  5. Formatting of the paper must be done using the pre-defined MS-Word styles in the template, rather than manually. The paper must use all the predefined font styles, sizes etc. as per the template.
  6. Basic examples of citations and references are included in the template. For more comprehensive information on citations and references, see http://ieeeauthorcenter.ieee.org/wp-content/uploads/IEEE-Reference-Guide.pdf

Note that where are conflicts between the template and the guide, the template prevails.

All accepted and registered papers that are presented at the conference will be published in the conference proceedings (CD-ROM/USB) and uploaded to the IEEE Xplore database, which is indexed by Scopus, provided they meet the required IEEE PDF paper standard. The proceedings will also be submitted for possible indexing to EI Compendex, ISI Thompson Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI) and INSPEC.

Awards

Awards will be presented to authors of the best papers presented at the conference. These authors, along with authors of other selected papers, may be invited to submit revised and expanded versions for potential publication in the IEEE Transactions on Education, and/or other refereed international journals.
